3 Facelift Options to Avoid Surgery

3 Facelift Options to Avoid Surgery

The aging process never stops, and as we age, skin loses its elasticity—collagen production decreases, which allows the skin to sag and wrinkles to form. However, you don’t have to accept the effects of aging. Several regenerative medicine techniques can achieve younger-looking skin with facelift options that do not need painful surgery or repeated botox treatments.

PCL and PDO Thread Lifting

Thread lifting is a technique used to tone and tighten skin on various parts of the body. Thread lifting on the face and neck involves inserting tiny surgical sutures under the skin, providing structure and a framework for collagen and cells to develop and adhere—this plumps and firms the skin to reduce sagging. PCL and PDO thread lifting differs only in the type of threads used. PDO uses (Polydioxanone) threads while the newer PCL (Polycaprolactone) threads are most commonly used today.

Fat Fillers

Fillers, either natural or chemical, have been used for many years to give the face a more youthful look. Using adipose tissue (fat cells) for this procedure has some advantages over other non-natural fillers. For example, the beneficial effects of fat fillers tend to last longer than other types of fillers. In this procedure, fat cells are harvested from another part of the patient’s body, treated, and injected into the face to fill in hollow or sagging areas. In some cases, other additives may be used to enhance the effects, such as the addition of stem cells or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to help enhance and speed the healing process. While fat fillers are a good option for non-surgical face lifting, the procedure must be repeated y need to be redone periodically to maintain the effects.

HIFU Ultra V Lift

Of all non-surgical face lifting techniques, the least invasive uses high-frequency ultrasound (HIFU) waves to heat targeted areas under the skin. HIFU Ultra V Lift The heat triggers the production of new collagen fibers, strengthening the scaffolding under the skin. One of the most significant advantages to this treatment is that results are almost immediately noticeable after only one treatment with skin looking firmer and tighter. As the healing process continues under the skin, firming continues for several months.

Benefits of Regenerative Facelift Options

We regularly perform each of these age-defying techniques at American Regenerative Clinic. We prefer the approach of using the body’s ability to heal itself naturally over the need for surgery to correct the damage done to the skin over time. Our patients enjoy the shorter recovery time and the fact that they can regain the look of younger skin without invasive surgery.

Call us to book a consultation to find out if any of these facelift options are appropriate for you. We look forward to showing you the benefits of regenerative medicine in reducing the effects of the aging process.
