Minimally Invasive Facelift Options

Do you sometimes look in the mirror and think you want a facelift, but a facelift and surgery seem like too drastic of a measure? There are other minimally invasive facelift options that can give you the look and feel of a facelift without ever having to go under the knife! These less drastic procedures are minimally invasive and there’s no downtime afterward so you can go on enjoying your life right after the treatment. We’re here to break down what these treatments are and where you can find them (hint: they’re available at all American Regenerative Clinic locations!)

Minimally Invasive Facelift Option #1: Thread Lifting

The first minimally invasive facelift option we’ll review is called Thread Lifting. Thread Lifting is a non-surgical, no scar facelift which uses tiny surgical sutures or threads to perform the treatment. The treatment works best on skin that has minimal sagging and the best results can be seen on cheeks, jowls, brows, and the neck area. This procedure is generally more effective and longer lasting than Botox and other fillers.

The treatment is simple and consists of the threads being inserted under the skin. Your body will begin to produce new bundles of collagen and these bundles will surround each thread which in turn creates a subtle but effective lift. Because it’s subtle it also helps to create a natural looking lift. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and ozone are also injected with the threads to increase the threads’ effects by maximizing activation of cell culture within the body. There is no scarring and the recovery time after Thread Lifting is much shorter than a facelift.

A Thread Lifting treatment can last for up to 3 years, depending on factors like the age of the patient. For enhanced results, some patients choose to combine thread lifting with fillers or fat transfer. It’s also possible to extend the results of thread lifting by having additional threads inserted over time, but your doctor will advise you as to when this may be required.

Option #2: Ultra V HIFU Plus Lifting

High-frequency focused ultrasound (HIFU) has been used extensively as a minimally invasive facelift option. At American Regenerative Clinic, we offer Ultra V HIFU Plus Lifting, which firms and tightens skin, reducing the effects of aging without surgery.

Ultra V Lift with HIFU works by targeting the layers of the skin below the surface. It does so by first causing damage to cells by heating them rapidly. The damage triggers collagen fiber production, which provides added structure and elasticity to the skin. It is delivered directly through the top layers of skin, without needles or incisions. Anesthetics and/or numbing cream is also not required.

Unlike with a facelift surgery, after which the recovery time for incisions to heal can take weeks or months, there is virtually no downtime after Ultra V Lift treatments. Because HIFU does not damage the surface of the skin, you can return to your routine activities such as washing the face and applying makeup right away after the treatment/s.

Option #3: PRP Skinlift

PRP Skinlift is a treatment used to repair tissue, collagen, and elastin, which can rejuvenate your skin and provide a younger look and feel. In the procedure, blood is taken from a vein and spun in a centrifuge in order to isolate the platelets and the plasma. Then the platelet-rich plasma is applied all over the face, to activate stem cells which are already present in the skin. This leads to the development of new collagen which contributes to the repair and rejuvenation of your skin.
